Data Manipulation
We
can manipulate your data into whatever structure you require. You
may need data manipulation if you decide to change the way you use
your database, particularly where adding or moving fields are involved.
Often we will perform data manipulation as part of our migration
and cleaning services, but can assess and change the structure of
your data whatever your reasons may be.
We
are happy to assess your data manipulation requirements and give
you an indication as to how long the work is likely to take. In
order to do this accurately, we require the following information:

The number
of records to be manipulated. |

The number
of tables to work with and the relationships between them. |

The format
of the current database. |
|
The required
format of the resulting data. |
In
most cases we require a sample of data to affirm that we are able
to complete the task. It also enables us to do pre-conversion testing
in order to make sure we use the best methods and results for the
conversion.
